Not looking good for Cancun

This is an excerpt from Dr. Jeff Master’s blog on wunderground…..

“Mexico
The models have come into much better agreement this morning on the longer term forecast, and it looks very bad for Cancun and Cozumel. Dean will give those resort areas a pounding like they received from Hurricane Emily (Category 4) in 2005, and Hurricane Gilbert (Category 5) in 1988. Dean will probably not be as bad as Wilma (Category 4) in 2005, since Wilma stalled out over Cancun for three days as a major hurricane. Dean is moving quickly, and will not linger long over any of the regions it strikes.”

    Hello everyone,
My two kids and my parents and younger brother are in Cancun visiting my older brother who lives there…I spoke with my brother who lives there and he said the weather is still fine. At the time i spoke with him, about an hour ago, my kids were still in the ocean…he said not to worry and that they are expecting the eye ofthe storm to not hit Cancun…wishfull thinking maybe…he did state a lot of tourists have left early to return home….

Hola! It’s hard not to worry when you have loved ones in the path of this “monster”! My husband lives in Playa (I’ll be moving later) and needless to say I’m rather anxious for his safety. I was suppose to leave G.P Alberta on Saturday to join him there, but now I’m stuck in Canada, waiting, hoping and praying for his safety. It’s good to know that God has the “whole world in His hands”! Be safe everyone!
