Chillin’ out before the storm
August 20, 2007 7:14 pm Previous Hurricanes ArchiveJust wanted to check in with everyone, we are at home relaxing with our wonderful house guests. All is calm right now, we’re relaxed, watching movies and having a few Cuba Libres. The kids don’t really know what is going on, and I suspect that is for the best. Family and friends have been calling and it’s nice to know that so many people are thinking of us. Our thoughts are with the people south of us, we wish them strength and luck and hope that all turns out ok.
Here’s a pic from sunset, about an hour ago here.

We will be praying for you all and checking your blog all night.
My friends lived through Katina so I am feeling confident you are in better hands down there than they were.
Take much care!

We are with you from Mexico City, tracking all the info on the Internet, and I agree, our thoughts are more with the people of the south, Chetumal seems to get Dean directly, we pray for them

We wish you and all the people of Mexico a safe pass from hurricane Dean. Have been coming to Cancun the last years at the Golden Crown (now parnassus) The people both in our hotel and the whole city are the warmest, most friendly and hardest working people I have ever met. I was there right after Wilma and the worked so very hard for their city, the guests and families. God protect them all…they don’t deserve this. They’re all in my prayers.
